Habitat Easy Street Commercial is the fourth stage in the development of Habitat, located in Byron Bay.

The site is located centrally within the Habitat Development site. The Easy Street Commercial Precinct consists of 2 x three storey buildings and 1 x two storey building connected by shared, covered walkways which are designed to accommodate a mixture of commercial uses including:

  • 1,150 m2 of Business & Office
  • 440 m2 of Retail
  • 100 m2 of Food & Drink
  • 600 m2 of Recreation Facility (Indoor)

The precinct also includes shared amenities and lift along the indoor and outdoor meeting rooms.

Quality and
on-time build

Procurement was key for ensuring quality and timeframes are achieved. Concrete finishes including exposed concrete soffits and cream polished slabs are client quality critical items. Engagement of subcontractors with required skillset has ensured the required standards are achieved. Other quality critical items including but not limited to masonry and metalwork have been discussed in quality focus workshops with samples and prototypes provided for client review and approval.

In relation to time critical items the lift was procured early and will delivered on time and installed within the project timeframe. Other long lead-time trades including Structural Steel, Windows and Doors and Mechanical Services have been secured.
