Mullumbimby High School, comprising 12 individual buildings, suffered significant damage during the 2022 floods, with water levels reaching up to 1200mm. Bennett was engaged to undertake extensive remediation works across the entire campus, including classrooms, administration areas, staff facilities, and sporting infrastructure. Despite the scale of the damage, the school remained partially operational, requiring careful staging of works to minimise disruption. The project scope included hazardous material removal, full refurbishments, roofing and drainage upgrades, and the revitalisation of external facilities such as tennis and volleyball courts, the oval, and carpark lighting.
