This iconic heritage-listed structure deserved a thoughtful and respectful transformation. In partnership with Lismore City Council and BKA Architecture, we delivered a refurbishment that preserves the building’s historical character while integrating essential modern upgrades.

Key heritage features such as the original brick arches, hardwood floors, and internal lift were carefully assessed and retained where possible. At the same time, we incorporated contemporary enhancements including flood mitigation measures, improved drainage, energy-efficient systems, and a modernised lift.

The result is a resilient civic landmark that honours its past while embracing the future balancing tradition with innovation to serve the community for generations to come.
