BALLINA COAST HIGH SCHOOL PROJECT COMPLETION
It was in August 2017 when Lipman/Bennett received the news of our first joint venture project win, the Ballina Coast High School. The accompanying Client Tender meetings were highlighted by the need to open before 1st term 2019, by any and all means.
As of last Friday 18th January the Ballina Coast High School achieved completion.
Well done to the team, of which demonstrated amazing adaptive skills to get the project across the line. The project has had a strong Community and Department of Education focus throughout and has evolved drastically, with a scope increase of 30% in what has finalised to become a state of the Art open learning facility and indeed one of the first ‘Super Schools’.
The vibe throughout construction was one of positivity, with subcontractors and suppliers enjoying their participation in providing the Landmark Project for the community. In order to achieve the goal of not only achieving completion but delivering a quality project, a mix of Tier 1 down to Tier 3 subbies were used.
In summarising our experiences, we all agree it was a great learning curve with positive industry relations built, and in the least has bolstered our companies stock for future projects. Well done team!
